My cousin got killed in a car crash two years ago and I'm still not over it but don't want to talk to anyone about it. It happened in January and the month is getting closer. Aside from talking to someone what should I do?

You never truly overcome the loss of a loved one. You'll always miss them, but in time, it does get easier. Just remember the wonderful memories you have of your cousin. Celebrate your cousin's life; try not to mourn and be depressed. They're in a better place and is at peace. Take comfort in knowing that. Sorry for your loss.

Feel better soon.

You should talk to someone, even if it yourself or youre cousin. I too lost a cousin and alot of friends due to car accidents. I have spent alot of time in cemetaries at night. There is no easy answer. You should not go through this alone but if you must this is what I did. Sorry for you're loss!

Well in a way this is talking about it. And there's no way to get over it, Trust me. It's just always gonna be there if the person meant a lot. Not just because of the month but any little thing. Sometimes you just wake up with them on your mind. And I've learned one thing and that is you live on.

It's very hard to overcome the loss of a loved one. Maybe it will help if you would sit and write about all the good times you had together. I'm sorry for your loss. I know you cared.

to know he is your angel in heaven. you'll never be completely over your loss, and that's ok. but still to find complete happiness, it may take a very long time. and that's ok. it's always good to talk about your cousin, though. it really does help. i promise. to keep it bottled up only worsens your feelings b/c you feel you have no one to go home. if nothing else, just talk to y!a community about it. God bless you.

Think of a way to honor his memory. I don't think we ever get over a loss like that, but as time goes on, it stings a little less.
Try to remember a specific time when the two of you had a great time together, and keep that memory fresh, don't be afraid to be happy, smile when you think of him, it honors his life.

That is sad, for me my fave aunt and my best friend died in the same year, its hard but this is life we all gonna die, the thing that makes me feel well is when i pray for them and ask God to place them in Heaven. That would help you and also ask God to meet with the people you lost in life, ask to meet them in Heaven which is a better place then this world and in Heaven you would never lose them. that's what I do.

so sorry to hear that..but you still have to move on. his unfortunate was an accident, it's far beyond your control. You should blame yourself if it's within you control and you choose to ignore it. but it was not the case right?

i think your cousin also want you to be happy...so cheer up.

good luck
