Dose this not make a huge imbalance in the world monetary system? There oil is pumped out of the ground for as little as 2 dollars a barrel but is sold at $90 or so a barrel. Greed or what.

Don't you have nothing to fear from Arabs, the Arab rulers are tamed by the west and follow the orders given, the western regimes (USA for example) support oppression and encourage dictatorship perpetrated by the rulers in exchange of keeping the oil flow steady to the west.

That's kind of an inflammatory question. You don't have to bow down to anyone. Perhaps if our governments had been putting serious amounts of money into finding an alternative fuel source then it wouldn't be such a problem.

Thus is the nature of supply and demand.

If something is in short supply in order to stave off demand you increase the price.

If you want to drop the price of oil their is only one way to do it.

Use less oil.

dont confine it to the middle east, people are greedy the world over, how much would america sell its oil for if it had the monopoly on oil production. dont be so naive.
