Well it might feel really bad..i dunno. But then , isnt he your boyfriend? dont you know about his nature?
I think he was either hurt very much or isnt serious with you as he didnt bother for your feelings.
If he apologised then forgive him, if not then take up this matter seriously as there might be a possibilty that he isnt concerned about you.
If you love someone, the first thing that you do is to see that in no way you hurt your love.
Dont forget your dignity and self respect in your love for him!
I might be answering you like it is some big issue, but no one has the right to insult you. Being your boyfriend that guy should always be concerned for your feelings!
Anyway, hope things get fine for you!
Happy New Year!
:)

Try to work it out, maybe do couples therapy.
But if HE is not willing to clear up whatever it is in the air to make him say such hurtful things, then I honestly dont think the relationship is worth it! If you do nothing, it could easily turn into physical abuse.

Get rid of the loser, if you put up with it you'll be just as bad. Giving someone permission to treat you this way is just as bad as the abuse itself

It's obvious he has no respect for you. He's only thinking of himself. Dump him, and find a guy that does respect you.

that is verbal abuse...verbal abuse often leads to other forms of abuse...i can't tell you to dump him, obviously, but if he constantly belittles you, i have to wonder what he brings to the relationship that would make it worth the constant insults and criticisms.
