the bottom of your disposal has a reset button , might work might not. If not you will need to stick a seat wrench or allen or even a larger flat head screwdriver in the center hole on the bottom of dispsal and manually cycle (with switch in off position)
Also the pipe from the disposal has a divided spot in the center and may need to be removed and cleaned out, This divide causes restrictions occasionaly when too much is placed in it
One word of advice , Never use drain opening chemicals in your disposal
Good Luck

Make sure your disposal switch is off. Place hand in disposal and feel to see if there is something in it. Sometimes the smallest of things can stop it from working. Press reset red button. Run disposal until water drains. Run Hot water down sink for awhile. I would suggest also to buy some draino; even if this works and follow the directions on the bottle to clear any build up that may be in your pipes.

Try resetting disposall. Try resetting breaker. If no results try moving the grinder plate with a wood dowell to free it.
