The BNP claim to be patriotic, but they want to get rid of immigrants and the children of immigrants.
Prince Phillip is an immigrant http://www.royal.gov.uk/output/page329.asp and Prince Charles is the son of an immigrant.

How can the BNP claim to be patriotic when they would deport the Royal Family?

i am sure you know, that the majority are in it, for the sake of being in it, and they wouldn't understand the irony behind your posting.

Well seems that if you are a multi billionaire the BNP will not mind you staying. Remember my point about the amount of investments that foreigners have in Britain a few weeks ago where I pointed out that most of the savings in Banks is of foreigners not to mention most of the big companies are foreign owned. The BNP seem to think that these foreigners will not go by Britain in the morning if the BNP started deporting all their friends. Sadly they are wrong, I know of some ten millionaires who have said to me if the BNP ever got to power they would move within a week. So out the door would be ten thousand jobs along with some billion dollars of investment and trade. As for there other policies why have they changed their web site in the last month. Gone is their national service proposal, gone is there deportation of foreigners. Gone is even there annulment for mixed marriages. Are they telling us they had a Annual meeting and changed their policies in November.

Depends what you mean by patriotic, if it means championing the rights of this country before the rights of other countries then that could be seen as being patriotic. If it means treating one part of a society differently to another then that could be seen as unpatriotic. Aside from its stance on immigration the BNP proposes many measures that appeal to a lot of people, measures that are not being offered by the other parties.People should be wary though and see the stick and not just the carrot. There is a big difference between patriotism and nationalism.

Patriotism changes according to the circumstances. If you study the law that the USA has passed and called The Patriot Act, you will see that there are many titles that would be more suitable. During the 1914-1918 war, the English were told, in the interests of Patriotism, that Germans eat babies. The best thing is to study what each party says, evaluate whether it is a genuinely held belief, and form your own opinions. There is nobody in England who is not descended from immigrants.

BNP are not all about getting rid of immigrants they are trying to keep great britain great, such as stopping bums who cant be A@#^ to work getting a load of money from the government, about giving young girls who get pregnant at 15 a house, my dad supports BNP but not because he is racist and not because he doesnt want immigrants in the UK, providing they work and pay there way. My thoughts are sceptical about it being patriotic, I dont vote but I think peoples views about the BNP are wrong its not all about Race issues x

They are the only patriotic party left. What is all this twaddle about deporting the Royal Family? Immigrants, if legal and properly behaved, will not be deported.

Why do you always use the argument of "Prince Phillip" is a foreigner, do you really think any ones cares that much about prince Phillip that we would sell out are entire country and race, I'm a BNP supporter who respects the queen but thats about as far as it goes. Its a stale argument, why do you use it all the time, we know most of the royal family are of foreign decent.

Well, it looks like I'm about to be deported then. My parents emigrated to England from India, in the 60s.

Will it help my cause if I say I that have never claimed benefits, that I work for a living and pay my taxes?

Ah well, peace to all and have a Happy New Year everyone:)))

Of course the royal family is unpatriotic. True British patriots would want to see any commoner be able to be ELECTED head of state by the people.

The BNP, however, are not patriotic. They are Nazis, and I can't think of anything more unpatriotic than Nazism, a real slap in the face to all those Brits who fought and defeated Nazism in WW2.

Their website says they will allow deported immigrants to keep any money they get from selling their property here. Isn't that generous of them?

Practically everyone in the UK is a descendant of immigrants if you go back far enough (I'd be very surprised if anyone could claim to be a direct pure decendant Briton). (Oh and lets not forget that every human being comes from Africa, evolutionary speaking.)

Shall we empty the entire country? How patriotic is that?

nit picking a hobby of yours is it ? if you read the manifesto you'l see that the British national party are very pro royal, and are very pro British. sadly i STILL!! feel a bit uncomfortable about them though. (or they would get my vote). BUT!! you cannot take away the fact that they are passionately pro British. they love!! the country and its people. i just dont like the idea of people who are settled and love it here being asked to leave. i can understand them wanting to get rid of Muslims, they seem to have no place here at all, and there very religion hates!! every one who isnt a Muslim. a horrible hate filled people. but those who live here in peace should stay where they are happy. (no matter what! their colour.) but in answer to your question, of course they are patriotic.....
