Chances are, your dreams mean absolutely nothing.

To interpret a dream, the interpreter have always to know the person habit and what time did the person dream. This is important because the meaning could be changable. for example although two men got a same dream but the meaning is not always the same.
About your dream when you were little. It seems that you were disturbed by ghost. May be the house where you had lived was not a 'clean' place. You know if a child is always got a bad dream sometimes it means the place where the child lives in is haunted.
About your other dream, I don't have any idea. but I tell you what, sometimes nightmares is not always bad in meaning. it 's opposite.

There are not many ways that have been proven to work to prevent nightmares.
My sincere advice to you is to learn how to Lucid Dream. Lucid dreaming is when you know that you're dreaming and you can manipulate your dreams and make it the way you like. Not only keeps away nightmares, but its tons of enjoyment.

i heard that one's dreams reflect what one thinks before sleeping. and i even think that you're feeling insecure and having those weird dreams. for a short period of time, even i had a similar type of dream that i was being chased by someone. but feeling secure might help. r u afraid of sleeping alone but cant help?? if yes, try sleeping with your mom, etc. secondly, dont feel insecure in life. if u do, try discussing with a person u trust
hope this helps!!!

it sounds like you were probably abused. my late wife (she died) had trouble with nightmares due to a past trauma - It may take someone trained to deal with these kind of things to help you.
