Kochi (formerly Cochin) a cosmopolitan city located in the district of Ernakulam. Kochi & Kochuveli are different.
Kochuveli (a small lake) is near Trivandrum, Kerala. This place is now popular due to the Kochuveli Railway Station.
Commuters who miss direct train to Trivandrum, take this alternative route of reaching Kochuveli and then take a rick to Trivandrum.
To be specific, the Kochuveli railway station is situated at a short distance from Veli, famous for the Veli Lake. Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station is the nearest major railhead. It is that Trivandrum International Airport is 8 km away.
