Tolerance is very important for many reasons. The biggest reason is that people view things in many different ways and you can't be totally judgemental on someone because they view things differently. Many people work together in very important situations where they need to tolerate each other in order for things to run efficiently. If two men working on a nuclear war head didnt get along and couldnt tolerate eachother im pretty sure things wouldnt turn out to great (i know horrible example but you get my point) Another example would be Hitler. He couldnt tolerate anyone being different then him and im pretty sure we all know how that turned out. Another reason is we are all human and yes we make mistakes and people need to tolerate that. For example, If you shop lift you arent instantly thrown into jail your first offence they tolerate it and send you off with a warning and a fine usually. Hope some of this helps

Imagine yourself living in a world where everyone have the same culture, same hair color, and no ounce of tolerance. It would totally be black and white. Today, we are all connected somehow either through the internet or through people. With much connection in today's society, we need tolerance to connect with people to understand them. Without tolerance, human beings as a whole will never evolve to a higher conscious, will never learn, and will never live in harmony.

Oh gosh , just think of our planet, if there wasn't any tolerance?
The real answer to that question is: That "It is forced upon us so we, ( the people) have no choice, but to just accept and tolerate things that are beyond our control."
Like our government and there you can go on about the goverment and the people running our country.

Too close a tolerance and the parts will rub together and produce friction and heat. MORE tolerance (clearance BETWEEN parts) causes LESS friction and less heat, ergo tempers are cooler.
How's THAT for combining social studies and engineering into a single subject .....we'll call it Social Engineering. Hells Bells, I got half your essay already written. All you gotta do is sign your name and GO.

if there were zero tolerance, everyone would live by certain rules and no one would ever break them. that's takes away our free will and that is practically impossible. tolerance isn't needed, its already embedded in our unconscious minds

It's quite obvious, everyone is different and if we didn't have tolerance society wouldn't function
