Should there be seperate sites for "age appropriate" answers/questions? I, as an adult (I think) I am more and more frustrated by what seems to be an inappropriate population of "under-age" participants. Should there be "segregated" sites? I am just sadend by the 14 year olds asking how to get to "best get high" -do we, as adults, have a responsiblitie here?

What are the odds of Yahoo taking some action? I DOUBT IT -TOO MUCH MONEY TO LOSE. Pretty sad huh? Don't know the resolution. But isn't that the way they make money??? Why is it always "OUR" responsibility as adults? How/what does Yahoo do??? H**l they can't figure out most of our issues/complaints -But I will say they better get it together soon -they will be facing all kinds of suits her real soon!

Yes Susie ... I completely agree with you. It is terribly sad some of what you see here regularly about drugs ... pregnancy ... sex ... from kids saying they are 12, 13 ,14 ... and I wish there was more we could do about it. As a teacher and a mother it frustrates me to no end, but, in the end it's these kids parents responsibility. You can - as one other answer suggested - report every question like this you think is inappropriate ... but they'll just keep coming back. A lot of them do it just to annoy. You will always see a big influx of youth here everytime school has a holiday. It is Winter Break now so many of them are back here causing trouble or asking questions like the ones already mentioned. It gets worse in the summer.

You can always email Yahoo with any ideas you may have. I think just due to the nature of some of these topics it should be an 18 and older site. Especially because many times you are giving advice. What is a 12 year old possibly going to be able to help an adult with?? It's ridiculous. I wish they could require a credit card for I.D. Even the email sites do that now so that they know you have parental permission to have an account. You don't get charged anything ... it just verifies you're at least 18. That would help tremendously.

Who knows ... if enough people complain maybe it will get to that. I'd bet that would stop a lot of the "trolls" too. Either that ... or someone will end up hurting or casusing someone here to get hurt ... Yahoo will get sued ... and it'll ruin it for everyone.

Let's hope they come up with an answer before it comes to that! I love Answers ... but it's not a place for kids under 18.

Peace to you ...

hey susie

i haven't been on answer very long, but I have notice that there are a lot of youngsters asking and answering so adult type questions, it makes me wonder some times who is asking the question based on the question. Although were else can you get the answers from if not their parents. As responsible adults it is our responsibility to give the younger audience the best possible answers to their question in the hopes that they will take to heart and do the right thing. So even though a lot of youngsters are on Yahoo Answers we can still have fun and help people with their dilemmas. So keep up the good work and have a nice day.
Take care and keep the faith....cya....

I hope the adult population is not telling the kids how to get high, or do anything else against the law. I agree that we have a responsibility toward what the children see in questions and answers.

I agree. Unless Yahoo gets us an adult sandbox to play in and let us say what we want, where you: have to be 18 to log on; have to acknowledge a waiver warning of adult content by dysfunctional people...

i, as my point of view, agree, put aside i am a fifteen year old kid, i think that it should be a restriction to such age apropiate sites. but. on the other hand, it is freedom of speech right? can we ask things without repercussion or what?

Yes, but they're not considered underage, because you only have to be 13 to sign up. I am 13 myself.
But, I to agree with you about these questions, this is sad
that this rubbish is happening.
