Well, FIRST, the water AIN'T zero degrees. Salt water freezes at 29 degree F so it was NOT THAT cold that night. The fact IS, at that tempreture you have MAYBE on the outside, 30 minutes until death, maybe a bit less. Another fact is that the Carpathia, the ship that came to Titanic's rescue that night only found 2 people allve still IN THE water and ONE of them was PICKLED (drunk).
Personally I always have a few belts before I go swiming in the North Atlantic in the wintertime. Braceing.

I hated that movie in any event. The depiction of the rich vs. the poor wasn't realistic, either. The movie went on to set the stage for the ruination of other movies that could have been great, such as Pearl Harbor (which was like Titanic 2).

Oh, there were a lot of faults with this movie. How about the scenes where you couldn't see the actors' breath even though they were outside in below-freezing temperatures?

The rich vs. poor was realistic. 100% of the first class children saved as compared to 34 % saved in steerage.

I noticed a huge fault in your question.
There is no such thing as zero degree water, because it would be ice.
