Why do aries men put the people they love down?

I know an aries guy whose brother is a libra(we have the same bday actually!) and he loves him very much but when he was talking about how awesome he is he sort of interjected that he wasn't as educated as himself etc I said it was messed up that he would say that and he said it wasn't his brothers fault blah blah. I noticed he tends to do this to other people too. Why would you rave about someone being better then say oh but he isn't smart etc etc?

My best friend is a male Aries and he is a very sweet person. I am an Aries woman. Aries can be very blunt but we are not mean to people.

in general, aries are apt at putting people right back into their places, giving a blunt, fiery effect.

they see nothing wrong with it, though. to some, its their way of being honest to themselves and people around them and seen as an unintentional offense, while some does have some actual anger management issues and their bluntness is actually deliberated. in your case, perhaps your aries friend have some sort of sibling rivalry issues back home? its unsaid, but it can be 'read'.

they see it as they see it and as they have stubbornly chose to see it, not as you see it, not as what other people want them to see it, and most unfortunately, not as what and how the matter should actually been seen, as accordingly as possible, based on the circumstances. well, if they can, they wont be an aries.

for a thoughtful, considerate with feelings kinda aries genuinely apologizing as outwardly as they were giving their piece of mind in subjects they think they knew (they are not always right), wait til they reach their mid 30s and up, not any younger, to even be considered as considerate and thought as thoughtful.

its when they realized at some point of their life, they need to get things done, by being more tactful, less blunt, less selfish, etc etc. gathering their own experiences during their younger days.

if i were you, i wouldnt bother to advice an aries, UNLESS its asked for, cos, really, they only want attention, they only hear, and never listen. but who knows, since you're a libra, it could work better in some ways or another, compared to a cancer sun like me. =)

Glad I'm not the only one who knoticed this! My ex was an Aries, and he used to talk about his friends and family like that too, build them up and then add some little thing to bash them. I didn't used to care when he did this until he started doing it to me! I would sometimes go home in tears from his rude little comments and he would always act surprised that I got angry. I guess Aries don't realize that sometimes what they say can cut a person deeper than they meant it to. Don't take what he says too seriously, let him know that you find what he says rude. Trust me, once he knows what he says is makeing you uncomfortable, he will be more conscientious and will watch his words.

Aries are very conceited thats why and they think they are better than others...i am an aries girl and i do find i am better than others...but i keep it to myself ...i hold it in and hold it in but once you puch aries to a certain point they will tell you straight forward what they think without caring for others feelings...but aries most the time act before they think so after unknowingly putting someone down they later think and realize wat they have done....but it is aries men that tend to be more careless ... half the time aries will not apologize because of thier pride but the other half of the time the guilt gets to them and they apologize in the best way they possibly can :)

I can't stand Aries! Everything is a fight. I'm Aquarius and was dating a Aries (2 in my whole life time) they come off like that are sweet as pie but that's all a front. Once they don't get thier way or feel like you did something wrong they turn into thier ture selves and act a fool. I ignore thier stupid asses and it drives them insane!!!!!!! I really don't care, I will not tolerate little kid tantrums!!!!!!!!!! Don't waste your time, cause they don't mind wasting it for you.

Aries are naturally competitive by nature. So this isn't surprising. They become offensive, critical, even jealous when they feel threatened. He needed to put his brother down, for the sake of feeling better about himself. Typical..
