I'd like to plan something creative and fun, where all, if not most, of my friends will likely enjoy. Originality is key, and cocktails are a must. Even better, if you can recommend a spot in the area worth my time, as well as my friends, I would appreciate it.

Thanks...

It really depends on what your into but I think you would really enjoy Cocktails at the Atomic Blond Cafe - totally 50's 60's retro vibe and swing dancing at The DogHouse Dance Studio Oh! and early dinner at the Beach Chalet for the view of the sunset.

Are you from the area? You would know better than I, then. Assuming you're not, hire a guide for the day. Ask about seeing some of the famous attractions and about some of the things you and your friends find interesting. A good guide will know the local scene, including favorite eating places and watering holes of celebrities. Perhaps a movie is being made where they need crowds and you and your friends could be in a scene. Of course, there's Fisherman's Wharf, the Presidio, and Alcatraz, as well as the Golden Gate, so you might have to limit your choices over the space of a day.
