Proved? We don't prove things in science. We disprove them. A theory that survives many multiple independent attempts to disprove it becomes accepted. GR is a very accepted theory.

Einstein's general theory made some predations which have been experimentally checked. It has been proved to the degree that any theory can be said to have been proved.
