She's my gf and my reason for living...aside from our relationship, both our lives kind of suck at the moment, and we are keeping each other going emotionally. I would move heaven and earth to make that woman happy.

I don't have one of either at the moment. I spent most of my working life nursing and the rest of my time looking after, and out for others. The idea of doing it at home neither scares me into hiding under the bed, nor fills me with a desire to start making room in the wardrobe for someone else's clothes. Mind you it would be rather nice to have someone to come home to and actually sit down and talk to instead of communicating with ( if you know what I mean). I have friends enough for a social life, and a special friend I often cook for when she is in town. Once you get to 50 a glass of red wine and a video that you can fall asleep watching 3 nights in a row is 'the good life'. I am like a lot of other men: no body wanted us, and now we are too set in our ways to be bothered with worrying about what might have been. I'm happy the way I am. My 'use by date' expired and I couldn't care less.

I like taking care of people I love in general. It's the best way to show you love someone. I don't agree with financially helping anyone though. It's OK if your friend/lover has a serious problem and asks for your help. Then you have to help. But still if there's a way you should avoid it. It makes the relationship unequal and unfair.

True. It makes me happy to cook for my man. I love it when he's excited to eat what I cook, it lets me know he appreciates it. We do things to help eachother out. Like if I cook, he'll wash the dishes. If he does the laundry, I'll clean the apartment. It's great to work together. I like making him happy!

True.Taking care of your significant other is not a one-time experience. It's a cultivated practice, that tunes like a guitar. After time,it sounds perfect,natural.Pamper,nurse,feed,coddle...it's an on the job training thing. The rewards are great

I like to take care of my man, around the house, have his washing done, have dinner done, etc. I guess we sorta both look after finances for each other cos we both work.
