R.S.D. - Look at the category. Hey whatever club it is, you're not invited. Have fun being smart.

Frihah - Not targeted at you but I did get the idea from our chat in your other question. You don't have to explain yourself.

For me, it doesn't matter what country you are from, what sport you like, or which side you support, I don't like people on an individual basis. That means I can dislike someone who supports the same side that I do because of their obnoxiousness or for being a bandwagon fan.

I'll joke with fans of other teams when our sides are head to head and mine comes out on top, but I try to be good natured about it. No need to insult people or to be derogatory. No one will ever be witness to me spouting off about the teams that I support. I'll support a rival fan who is down about their team before I will support a bandwagon fan on my side.

It's all about class. You can't buy it - and not everyone can get it.

It wouldn'rt be fair to hate on a club/country team becuz of fans or to hate on people becuz they're fans of countries you hate. Take me for ex. I hated on Italy well about a year ago. Heck, I cursed them night and day. However, here I met many people who happened to be Italian fans and they are very good friends of mine. Lets talk club-wise. Man U is the club I dislike most, and Inter Milan. But my best online friend is a Man U fan and I have lots of other Man U and Inter fan friends. See? No hard feelings. I don't hate teams/clubs becuz of people--they're not good enough. If I did, it would be the other way around.

LOL @ Contact : Van Der Sar HAS TO DIVE! :PP

I know a lot of people who hate fans because of their club and vise versa.
Some users just come in here to create drama.
Ex. : Most of the answers in this question targeted ManU fans.
So maybe its not the fans/club whos being hated that has a problem but the one who is HATING on the fans/club.

Of course not. But the question could also be: Is it fair to hate fans because you dislike the club they support?

No,I don't hate any club(not even Liverpool whom I like the least) for any reason. There are some fans who make my blood boil but then,I don't have anything personal against them.

No, but it's easier said than done. Just goes to show you...how you represent your club is remembered in the long run.

No but it's understandable because they should realize as a member that they represent their respective club and if they behave poorly that it reflects poorly of their club.

No its not. Differences in football opinions don't make people good or bad, it just means different likes and dislikes. Though its also not fair to hate on fans because you dislike their team and that happens a fair bit also. I like people for who they are not what team they support. I may muck around with some banter with my friends of rival teams but some of my dearest friends and contacts on here are all supporters of teams I don't follow.
