Nope. I rather think he didn't like that song because he wasn't part of it. He didn't write it either, so you know, that could be why...
He didn't help on that one 'cause he was recovering from a car crash at the time, I think. He was rad though, wasn't he?

No, but Ritchie Havens, who was the first artist to perform at Woodstock, did. His version came out shortly after The Beatles' and to be honest, it was the only one I knew for a long time..
