Ok, so its christmas and well i bet your saying...o i bet this guy wants to know which one to ask "santa" well thats not my question. So, its christmas and well i have a family coming all the way from Guam to here (CANADA!) U might not care but well, the family is a huge Game fanatic. Today, they told me to bring my 360 to their house tomorrow so we can play. Now, they said we can get either Rock Band or Guitar Hero 3 *i have neither -_-. So, i have everything both games need. I Have a band...i have the money...THE HD TV!!! So...Which one? I've heard from lots of people that Guitar Hero 3 is better but still help please!

Rock band has more gameplay, whereas the guitars add onto a more of a realism feel, as do microphones and drums into the gameplay. Meanwhile guitar hero 3, tries to make yet another series, and added on to a BOSS system.
Break down:
RB - Four types - Guitar, Bass, Microphone, Drums. (+1)
GH3 - Guitar, Bass.
RB - Band system with up to four players. (+1)
GH3 - Two-player Co-op.
RB - Though a ripoff, has its own unique feel in a gameplay.(+1)
GH3 - A series of a series of a ripoff of Guitar Freaks. (-1)
RB - Classic music, though lacks good ones. (+1)
GH3 - Shitty *** Dragonforce with a girly singer. (-1)
RB - Good quality in storyline. (+1)
GH3 - Unrealistic boss battles. How many gigs do you see in bands of two bands playing at the same time? Horrible bands, thats what. (-1)
RB - Good game. +1
GH3 - Bad game. -1
RB - Fun for all. +1
GH3 - Stay a virgin. -1
Overall:
Rock Band - Seven points.
Guitar Hero 3 - Negative Five points.

Well Guitar Hero 3 is a solo game and rockband is a party game for lots of people. i have a a little sister who would not play it with me so i am getting guitar hero 3. Guitar Hero is cheaper but doesn't have as many instruments. Guitar hero has a bigger song list. and since you said your whole family are game fanatics and stuff and you would all like to play. i would say rock band for you because you have people to play with. but you know it's your choice not mine. i'm just here to help
