The Chicago Bears are a professional American football team based in Chicago, Illinois.
The club was founded in Decatur, Illinois, in 1919 and moved to Chicago in 1921.
Originally named the Decatur Staleys, the club was established by the A. E. Staley Company of Decatur, Illinois in 1919 as a company team.

The Staleys would have been a terrible team name, thank god they got sold, moved and changed their names. Could you imagine the NFL without the Chicago Bears?
