It seems they could find a little bit for a retired Fleet Admiral Kirk, Chief of Star Fleet.
Or maybe they think it would make the movie to long waiting for him to spit out his lines. You...know...what ...I mean.
Or maybe priceline.com won't let him if he can't push trips on the Enterprise.
All...tongue...in cheek.
It will not seem like Star Trek without William Shatner.

a lot of the original cast are having cameos.
i dont know why they arent geting Bill shatner in but guess they ran out of charectors.
Leonard Nemoy (original spock) will play spocks father.
