Here is the thing. They didn't take anything from you. the games that were aired on network television are still aired there. All they did was put more games on television and on days we didn't previously get pro-football. Also as far as the NFL charging you, that is exactly what they are trying to prevent. They say the NFL network should be offered at a base cable level and everyone should get it as a part of having cable. Cable companies like Time Warner (which I have) want to move it on to a sports tier where not everyone would get it as part of having cable(similar to ESPN) but people who chose it would have to pay extra for a sports package in order to get it. So if you want to be upset direct it toward your cable company

The NFL isn't the problem. They don't want the cable companies to charge extra money for the channel. They want it thrown in with the same standard package that ESPN is on but the big cable companies (well not all of them, I get the NFL Network for free from our cable company) want to make it a premium channel like HBO or Cinemax.

Many major boxing fights were on pay per view and don't forget the major WWE matches. I don't think the NFL should be treated differently. The only reason it gets any heat is because there are football fans in Congress.

They are trying to become part of basic cable but the basic cable companies won't pick them up. Atleast they knew the magnitude of tonight's game and it's on cbs and nbc as well.

I was mad , until I got Direct TV. Best choice I made. Love it. I do think it is rude, but I find my direct TV cheaper and more entertaining. sometimes you gotta go with the flow...just like the new Pats fans.

Yes, you should write a letter to the NFL...I did....If we all complain then they'll stop doing it....If we don't then what would make them refuse all that extra $$$$?
