7 overs, 32 runs in 3rd innings. Thats almost 5 an over, which is one day speed basically. Why the rush when still 3 days remain?

I don't think they're deliberately batting fast, just India's fast bowlers were bowling badly. RP Singh was almost bowling straight full-tosses, Zaheer was bowling too many short and wide. Even though there are still 3 days left, top players like Australia has are not going to miss out on easy runs. None of their shots were really risky or anything.

Because they have advantage of huge first innings lead and they want to pile up huge score in second innings and declare with enough time left out to dismiss India. Even if Australia loose couple of early wickets in their attempt to score fast runs, they can still control, the game because of the advantage of foirst innings lead.

The wide lead they got in the first innings. You know they play mind games. They scare their opponents. Indians are falling for that. But no matter. These are no surprises.India should bang bang with out worrying for possible defeat.
