All countries with only the exception of USA, always taught and still teaching that there's a North America, a Central America and a South America.
Why USA is making it's own geographic deals, even in its maps and books?
Why? Is it wrong? Tell me what you think.

Lo que pasa es que es tan grande el ego de los gobernantes , que ocupan todo el resto del continente y no ven más de lo que quieren ver.
Amo al pueblo norteamericano pero tendrían que informarlos más.

Proud American and Native Texas here ... Who ever told you that the US is basically not teaching about Centeral America is filling you mind with major BS. The cultures that make up Centeral America are not only taught about, but have had a major historical impact in making up the currentculture of the US ... especally in the southern half of the country. If nothing else, just get out a map and take a look at the names of the cities and major geographical landmarks.

Because we're taught that, geographically, North America and Central America are one continent. South America is divided by the Panama canal.

Politically and socially, there are three disticnt continents.
