Oh my gosh, that is such a crazy yet completely valid question.

It's hard to be honest!

I know I SHOULD sympathize with the dead guy. But, from the moment I heard that story, I felt grief for the Tiger. She was obviously not happy, and lived in captivity. Dare I say, I'd have contemplated doing the same thing were I given the chance?

I stay away from Zoos because I can't stand seeing the animals caged and out of their habitats. I am so sorry for the guy and his family. But, I really, truly, deeply feel for the Tiger - perhaps it's because I think that no one else does? She needs (and needed) a voice.

I feel she has been deeply misunderstood throughout her whole life, and in the end, her animal instincts lead to her death: that is what I sympathize with.

Jesus Christ...

A tiger is an animal. The man was a person. The tiger was a menace. The man had a family. He had friends. He had hopes. He had dreams. He had a life.

I cannot even fathom why someone would feel worse for a tiger that mauled innocent people. What a bunch of idiots.

Obviously the person that died. The tiger is a wild animal with a natural killer instinct. No matter what any "professional trainer" says. Regardless if it was intentionally released, it is bound to happen with wild animals kept in captivity. I'm glad the animal was killed.
We humans are the superior species in this world where it's a survival of the fittest. We are mentally superior so it is in our nature to kill, eat, or do whatever our God-giving free will desires. In this case, nature over power our species.
I have sympathy for the guy that died and not one bit for the stupid animal.

the tiger, because it was natural instincts that caused the animal to attack, well fed animals that are bred in capture shouldn't attack without having a reason, as jack Hannah said before...then again if for some small reason the animal attacked without reason or instincts was not involved then the dead guy..

It is cruel to cage wild free animals. It is they who pay to view that encourage their capture and captivity. The natural process of elimination at play.
