I know that many people dont like to talk about death, or think of it, but when the topic comes up, people seem to all agree that they want to die in their sleep. People think im freaky to want to die consciously. First, let me explain myself; i want to be aware of myself dying, even if it is painful, or depressing. This is hard to explain, but this next reason is easier to understand; i want to die in a gunfight, swordfight, or something along those lines. This isnt so much because of all the movies i have seen, but because i want to die in a way that would be because someone is more skillful then me. So how would you want to die? Why?

Sure, those ways of dying are outdated, but am i still a fool for wanting to die in a display of skill?

I want to die holding my husband's hand, and if things 'go right' we'll die within five minutes of each other, and wake up in Heaven a few minutes later. I don't really care about the way we do this ... except for the 'holding hands' part, and we may not die 'together' ... but I am seriously LOOKING FORWARD to getting to Heaven and finding out the 'rest of the story' from God ... and I know that my husband will be beside me when that happens, since Heaven and God are 'outside of time and space' ...

I don't want to die by drowning or any other form of suffocation...other than that, I'm open to many different forms. Of course, I understand why many people would want to die in their sleep, but it seems to me that you don't want to die by letting old age and uselessness just kind of take you, but rather fighting to the end...in a weird way, you want to be alive when you die. It makes total sense to me.

I want to die in my sleep. I don't want to die in a gun fight.
It doesn't matter how you die, becuse when you're dead ... you're dead! It's not like you can go back and change how you died lol.
