I guess not, because rather than waiting any longer for the right person to come along, I decided there is no such thing as the right person, there is only compromise, and I don't have the ability nor the want to do so.

There's a saying that "you can't rush a good job". The longer you wait for something and therefore the more patience, the better it will be in the end. Although i must admit it is not always easy
