To "act your age" is a figure of speach which is directed at a person who is behaving childishly.

Sometimes I do not act my age. I like to throw tantrums every now and again ... I think I should have been involved in drama... maybe set design or something... otherwise I'd like to design a range of lady's lingerie. When I grow up I still want to be a fireman. Prolly just the uniform and hanging around all those buff guys.... but hey... what better reason to choose a career path?

Of course. I was born on September 5, 1955, Labor day! (My mother was not amused) Labor Day has only fallen on Monday September 5th seven times since I was born so - - - following leap year logic

I am Seven!!!

And I love acting my age!

So, when do I turn eight?

Not much. What's someone 60 years old supposed to act like? When my grandparents were 60, they were old and tired. Pop Pop was nice, but not very interesting. Nana was good to me, but talked funny. (Pennsylvania German.) I wasn't near either of my own parents when they were 60, and would not use them as models anyway, for a variety of reasons.

Now the AARP magazine shows handsome couples dancing on cruise ships and golfing and walking their dogs. I'm a widow. What am I supposed to act like?

OK, I just act like me.

At times I like to think I act my shoe size and not my age. It doesn't last very long and usually with cool toys that my son gets on his birthday or from Santa.

LOL!

Great question Moon - star is coming.....
