you have a decent shot, but it really all depends on your extracurriculars.

your gpa could be higher

I don't think you have an automatic shoe-in, but at the same time I don't think you're an automatic deferral

You would be a good candidate. Don't forget that many universities weight AP classes on a 5 point scale (as opposed to the 4 point scale), so a B could quickly become a 4.0!

Do not hesitate to explain why it is that your SAT score was lower than what you think your ability is. Tell them out right that you have done excellently in math throughout your high school education and that you plan on continuing this trend well beyond university.

Also, grades and SATs, while important, are not all that universities look at.
Good luck.

Your GPA is just under the average GPA of admitted students and your SAT score is higher than average -- so yes, you have a legitimate shot.

At the top schools, being qualified isn't enough. Pay particular attention to your admissions essay. You should have some back-ups. You will certainly get into a couple of great schools.

Good luck/

You sound like a shoe-in to me. My sister didn't do quite as well as you in highschool and she got accepted but decided to go somewhere closer to our home. Go, it's beautiful there, too! Good luck!
