Given that you will have to find a job locally, if it is while you are in school, and you are in a small town, I'm not sure that online is the best way to go, unless you include the classifieds in your local paper. I use indeed.com a lot for my students, but I'm in a major city, where they couldn't possibly survey everything out there in person.

Most colleges have career resources available, not to mention jobs within the school. Given the high turnover for student assistants, there's often positions available. Before checking outside sources, look into your school's career center, see if there's any kind of job link service for in-school positions, and visit offices related to your major. You may also want to check in with professors to see if they are aware of any opportunities, or perhaps can point you in the right direction. Good luck!

To make a decent amount of money online, you need to use more than one website. I do. I have a link that'll get you started on my profile.

I have used www.careerbuilder.com for a lot of job searching. Found a few jobs and got offers but never took one as I found a better one thru a referral
