Puts them in a lower energy state and this is more stable then a high energy state...And if they did not then there would not be any bonds!

Atoms share electrons in order to become stable--that is, have 8 electrons in their outer (valence) orbitals. All atoms with less than 8 electrons in their valence shells are constantly looking for more to satisfy this octet rule, with few exceptions. To achieve this, atoms bond together in many different ways; the bond in which atoms "share" electrons is called "covalent bonding."

Atoms share electrons to form covalent bonds.

Covalent bonding is a form of chemical bonding that is characterized by the sharing of pairs of electrons between atoms, or between atoms and other covalent bonds. In short, attraction-to-repulsion stability that forms between atoms when they share electrons is known as covalent bonding.

Atoms are a combination of elements, and elements are made of electrons, protons and neutrons. Elements have shells that hold their electrons, and different shells hold different numbers of electrons. When elements react with other elements, the electrons from the other elements fill the empty spaces of the electron shells.

i dont get u but atoms use electrons to fuse with others since the proton and nutron cant and this is biology as in animals

so that they can have as close to 8 electrons as possible so they can be balanced, they dont want to give them up, so they form coevalent bonds, they share.
