I thought it had withstood 5.2 so far but I guess my source is wrong. I will say this, the dam and the surrounding area is sitting on the conversion of two tectonic plates that are slowly moving back and forth on a fairly regular basis. It is only a matter of time before there is a major shift. That area is a hot spot for seismic action. You couldn't pay me enough to live there!
