... I'm getting nervous that an experienced hit possum team are headed my way ...... and they don't intend to tickle me with those tails. .... So should I use a microwave box or a stronger Washing machine box?

I would go for the refrigerator box, set some of of those monkeys playing the drums and cymbals they will think they are going into a night club and as soon as they are all in there get out the duct tape, poke holes in the box so they don't die and hire someone to go dump in your most un-favorite in-laws yard. Just don't write a check because it if goes bad it can be traces back to you.

Well since you're asking for opinions, I like the boxes that you ship oranges in. If you trap the possum in that, not only do you have a sturdy box but the possum will also have a great scent while he waits for you to come get it.

This reminds me of the time my dad promised to teach me how to swim.....

The hardest part was getting out of the burlap sacks.

I suggest the burlap sack for catching possums. I'd give you mine but they're full of holes.

Liquor Store boxes work best.....
They are really sturdy.....
You may want to go with something that is not chewable though......
A 5 gallon bucket should do the trick......
Peace.
