I think that the dog is very cute.
I can't say the same for the dog's former owner, though. It's a good thing that he and the dog were separated! Now Adi has the chance to live his (or her?) life with a better owner.
edit: I guess the punishment does seem a bit strange, but then again, this happened in Germany - and given the past events of history, I can understand why they're so against the salute.

That's crazy. Why would someone teach their dog a trick like that? 5 months in jail for your dog doing a Hitler salute is a bit strange, I think.
