Not all Mormons are republicans. There is a surprisingly # of LDS who are dems. So no, not all will support. BTW...there are only about 6 million LDS in the USA. Hardly enough to win an election.

No, of course not. I know several who won't, and several who are Democrats. And even if every U.S. Mormon who is eligible to vote were to pick Romney, it wouldn't give him much of an advantage... he might gain a whopping 1% (compare this with the percentage of people who will refuse to vote for him just because he is Mormon, too). LDS Mom summed it up well.

By the way, anyone who thinks that the Church dictates who should be elected is ignorant of what goes on in the Mormon faith. I've been attending this Church for 30 years and have never heard a bishop or anyone else in authority recommend one candidate over another.

No. Many Mormons are voting for Dodds. Nearly half the Mormons in the United States are Democrat, for a bit of trivia.

Mit Romney is mormon. it is not any longer the political communicate board. Mitt Romney isn't worth of this wall of rant, no ask your self why your money owed are terminated, you do no longer stick to communicate board policies. placed up this crap in the ideal one. in case you think of you have a case, circulate to courtroom, in simple terms remember, no one MAKES you come back INTO THIS communicate board, AND no one HAS TO AGREE OR settle for each thing you assert. Your fixations may be a litte irrational for many. develop up approximately it. you do no longer would desire to return here that could confirm your subject concerns.

After living in Utah, the most Republican state in the nation per capita, I can assure you they will vote overwhelmingly Republican. Whomever the LDS Church tells their bishops behind closed doors, their bishops will disseminate the endorsement to the rest of their members. I have heard since '03 that the LDS church and Senator Hatch (R-UT) have had their eye and $$$ on the Mormon Governor of Massachusetts, Romney. I can unequivocally say that if Romney gets the Republican nomination, Mormons as a whole will overwhelmingly vote for Romney, whether they are Republicans or Democrats. Of course some Mormon will complain that I am wrong because he or she is voting for a Democrat or some other GOP candidate... that is the exception Mormon.

No. I have a Mormon friend who is a die-hard Democrat and would never vote for a Republican, so that's at least one who won't.
