I know for a fact that I want to go to the New York Film Academy for their acting program. Is there anyone here who has been there for their acting program, or just in general studied there? I also have a concern for the housing because i dont know anyone in New York and I know that I cant afford paying $800 a month by myself, especially if I dont recieve any grants or scholarships to study their. Do they have some sort of roommate plan or anything?

You sure? They are very expensive and for much less money you could get very good training elsewhere. Where are you from? Any experience in NYC? There are better ways to become a film actor. Did you read their curriculum for the 1 year acting program? What the heck is Shakespeare doing in there? Cause there sure are not making a lot of Shakespeare films. If you want to become an actor and avoid all the pitfalls, read my profile and contact me at my aol address where I mentor aspiring actors for free.

Seems like a decent school

You'll have to find a roommate

In looking them over and they seem a more than decent school, I couldn't HELP but notice the overwhelming staff members all got their MFA at the NYU Tisch School.
