Teaching is not easy, but if you have the zeal, it is all worth it. If you like what you are doing, then it makes it more tolerable and yes, easier.

No, teaching is not an easy thing to do... if you do it well. And being sympathetic to the needs of each child can be an emotional roller coaster, but it is so worth it. When I first began teaching, I came home crying for a different kid every day. Not because the kids were terrible, but because for some reason, I'm the teacher they tell all their problems to. But I believe that being a good teacher means that you need to show each child that you genuinely care about them, not just their grades. It takes a lot of time and honesty to get kids (especially teenagers) to trust you and let you into their world, but they really appreciate it when you care enough to take that time to get to know them. I honestly LOVE my job, but it is emotionally, physically, and mentally draining.

As far as the job being easy, I think that for some people in the profession, it is easy, but typically those are some of the worst teachers. I've seen teachers use the same lesson plans for 25 years, and that is not at all acceptable. It is important to constantly update and decide what worked and what didn't work, and then fix what didn't work. Be creative! Have fun! When you have fun, the kids have fun! And you can't really have fun if you teach the same stale lesson for over two decades!

It depends on what you consider hard work. I think the army, navy and marines are hard work but teaching comes naturally to me. If you love what you do, it doesn't really become hard because you enjoy doing it. Everyone on here is right about updating lesson plans and adapting old plans to the new classroom because everyone learns differently but I feel like that is part of the fun. It's interesting to see how different students learn and figuring out how they learn best individually and as a whole group.

The "sympathetically" part is the hardest part for me. It is emotionally draining depending on where you teach.

i tutor a little bit and i was nervous that i would be clueless on how to help the kids but turns out its not too bad. u just have to remember they don't know what u know so u have to explain it like their from a different place and have never seen the thing before in their life. and u have to not discriminate. sometimes i would teach kids who didn't seemed like they cared or seemed like they would be in jail in a few years. but they're people too and alot of them are intelligent and want to succeed. also try to connect with the kids so they can trust you and tell you when they don't understand.

Tolerance is variable as personality over time.

Behavioral, psychological and sociological theory as instruction for corrective procedure for teaching contexts requiring personality analysis/interpretation and cognitive assessment, all teaching contexts.

Self assessment is as much a duty expected of t he teacher as is assessment of and by others for purposes for relating honestly yet prudently with students.

NO, it is not easy. There are so many different things going on at one time. Students are rude. Their parents are worse. The teacher has no real kind of discipline. This job is not for the faint of heart.

Symp means the students have
suffered some tragedy.

Also, what grades are you seeking to teach for? I have covered 1-20!

i prefer college kids, then I don't have to be their police officer too!
