My son who is 14 wants to see it with his friend on the weekend, is it age appropriate for them.

Well, it's not recommended for a 14 years old since it contains a lot of gore and language. It is rated 'R' which means even if you decide to let him go he should be accompanied with an adult. Just seen it yesterday and oh boy. Lot's of gore...LOTS. I'd recommend you to just persuade him to watch a different movie. And it wasn't even good as the first one! Disappointed me a lot. This movie was just gore and all action that's about it. None of the characters are memorable. There is a scene in there that quite frighten me a lot...let's just say this Alien + Pregnant Woman = Sick.

Mmmm. Yeah, its kinda scary but I played all sorts of games when i was in that age.
One thing thought isnt Alien vs predator queit old now ? why not buy him a new game

No it's not it is rated R that means you have to be 17 years or older to watch it give me a second to fine you the trailer for it

Usually you can look online at what the rating is and that will also tell you whats in the movie that gets it that rating..

That kind of movie is "taylor-made" for a 14-year-old...
