I want to ask my mom if it is ok for me to go the beauty salon to have my nails done professionally. Im a 15 year old girl and i would love to have beautiful long fingernails and also have pretty toenails. How should i go about this?

If you can't ask your mom that, then I think you need to better your relationship... I would just go and casually say, "hey mom, can I get my nails done?" But, if you don't feel comfortable with that, write her a note, maybe?

Too bad Christmas is over as this would have been a great and simple gift. I wouldn't think that this would be a big issue as it is rather common for girls your age to want to start doing some of the things that make a girl feel pretty.

hey mom. we should go get manicures together!
make it seem like you want to spend time with her. or bring it up in the car when you're shopping, so she wont have to go out of her way. and then while youre there ask for the fake nails or whatever..

just ask her, but they arent that fun. very damaging. sometimes get infected if its a bad place. i would just talk to her, maybe buy hardener and get them painted by the nail place?i went through the fake nail stage too at your age, and i got them a few times and never again i hateeee them lol hard to do stuff too

my mom has been taking me to the nail salon since i was eight. why do you even have to ask, and why is it so hard to ask. i think that you should just go, i mean they dont cost that much

im mean like hasent your mom ever got one, if you go with her or ask her if you two can have a mother and daugther day and go get your nails done

it's not a big deal. i'm 15 also, i started getting my nails done when i was 14. just let her know that you wont get them too long and overdone. maybe get a full set (french manicure). i'd just ask her. if she says no then let her know that they wont be too long, etc...

Tell her you want to have a girls day with her. Shopping, lunch, manicure and pedicure. No mom could resist that.

whoa ur mom must be a real stiff if u need advice about talking to her about something like this...
just ask, but dont be all serious, do it casually, but strong, let her know you really want it.
