Petsmart should sell African Dwarf Frogs and (depending on where you live) possibly African Clawed Frogs. The Clawed Frogs get about 8 inches and would happily eat all the fish in your tank, so you would want Dwarf Frogs... Neons and Dwarf Frogs are great, but the Fidler Crabs they sell are actually brackish water crabs, not freshwater... There aren't true freshwater crabs... In freshwater, those crabs will slowly die (and they need to breath air, so they would need a spot to get on land, in a brackish water tank)... If you want something similar to crabs, try some Ghost Shrimp, Bamboo Shrimp, Red Cherry Shrimp, Bumblebee Shrimp, Japonica/Amano Shrimp, Orange Bee Shrimp, or Crystal Red Shrimp. Freshwater shrimp are very interesting to watch and keep, and would be fine with your choice of fish and frogs...

In a 10 gallon tank, all you would need is a standard heater and filter (a 10 gallon kit should cost about $50). Do NOT attempt to keep Neons in anything less than a 10 gallon tank... Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

EDIT: As I already said, African Clawed Frogs will eat anything in the tank that they can fit into their rather large mouths, and are completely unacceptable for your tank. Also, you need to be changing the water in such a small tank WEEKLY, not ever month!!!

No crabs please! will kill the tetra imediately! Try a african dwarf frog they stay small and are gray. You can stick 2-4 in a ten gallon tank and watch them swim. Or an african clawed frog. They get about 6 inches or more and are a pale pink also a good pet but dont mix the two together cause the dwarf frog is a community frog and the albino clawed frog is not. they are kinda on the aggressive side. All you need is a 10-15 gallon tank and the entire set up. tank, heater(suited for that size tank, a fitration system again suited for the size of the tank, gravel, air stone, air pump, tubing, a tank hood and light, and water frog pellat or food, a tank syphon suited for that size of your tank, and a test kit, and oh yeah and some dechlorinaizer and extra filters . You need to change you tank water every 3-6 weeks and read up on how to care for them and your tank (extremely important)! If you choose to do this you may want to also consider a tank stand for that size tank. Which ever size you so choose to buy. So heres the extensive care that is needed in order to care for a water frog. Good luck and be a good fish parent. :)
