yeah- there's something about the holidays that just feels serene... the weather is cool and people are generally (but not always) nicer... i think it's the most fun to hang out with friends and family- that's what is the most important for me...

No, not really. Christmas wasn't very nice this year, so I kind of feel like there was no Christmas at all.

A close relative was seriously ill and spent whole Christmas in hospital. That ruined the fun of it. We were too worried to enjoy Christmas. On top of that both I and my hubby were sick, I had really bad backache the whole time and my brother was on such strong medication that he couldn't get out of bed to join the rest of the family for Christmas. Christmas kind of sucked, so it was not the happy season it was supposed to be.

For me, I am somewhat relieved that Chrsitmas is over. Every year I am filled with so much anxiety because my family doesn't get together anymore to celebrate. I did spend Christmas with my mom one night (she's in a convalescent home) and had dinner with my closest friend the other night. I gave a lot of nice small gifts to people I barely knew, at places of businesses I frequent, that put a smile on their face. So that made up for my sadness.

No. I had the worst christmas ever. Accidents happened, someone fell down the stairs, we had to run the hospital. someone else in the family choked on a twizzler, my family friend broke a light. yeah.. and i got into an argument with my father! How was yours?

Yes and no. It was a good day but it was the first Christmas that I didn't spend with my family, since they are overseas, so it was bitter-sweet.
