Internet, infections problems, help?

Question

I need a good, free, anti-virus cleaner because something is wrong with my internet. My internet sends me end now, send or not send pop-ups whenever I close out. Once I close out it closes EVERY internet page I have up. I DID download firefox (friend recommended it) but I also want to get rid of the problem but I have no idea what it is. Could anyone give me any clues or send me sites that may have a problem to detect the problem, virus, whatever it may be? It'd be most helpful...thank you.

I really don't understand your question, but a good start to cleaning your computer infections would be to install and do a deep scan with a reliable antivirus. I suggest either Avira or Avast; stay away from AVG as it is pretty lame. Choose only one:

Avira AntiVir PE Classic: http://www.free-av.com/

Then download, update and run a couple of good antispies. I suggest Superantispyware *and* Spyware Doctor Starter Edition. You can run as many antispyware as you like.

After you have a good antivirus and some good antispyware installed and run, you'll have a good idea where you stand.

Try Avast! Anti Virus, you can find it on www.download.com , it is a free, good program, I use it myself
