I have heard of some encrypting techniques that involve having an encryption key at the sending and recieving ends of the e-mail transmissions. If the e-mail is sent anywhere else, it wouldn't be readable. As I recall, this requires having an internal mail server on the sending end and having some information exchanged outside the e-mail transmissions but it has been a while and I don't recall the details.

sounds like a research project.

No, there isn't. Once you hit the "Send" button, the recipient can do whatever they want with it. And, there's no way to absolutely prevent this.

So, don't use the web for confidential or sensitive information, ever.

That's just the nature of all digital data.

nope, if they can read it they can copy it.

Even if they cannot email it, they can print it or do a print screen, or transcribe it. Taking a picture of the computer screen too.
