Thinking about buying an 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid, what do you think about the batteries?

I have no idea why "top gun" does not think it is a "true hybrid" unless he does not know the definition of hybrid.

As far as the batteries go, I recently bought a 2008 Civic Hybrid and I do not think the batteries were improved from the 2007 model year. Of course, I am biased.

None of the reviews I read before buying mentioned any problems with the batteries. The dealership where I bought it said they had never had to replace any hybrid batteries.

It is not a true hybrid. it has a gas engine with an electric boost. Does not get much more MPG. Toyota has rights to part that can make car run on either gas or electric although not recomended. they work together to be fully self sufficient and get best gas. 95% of people get 46-48 on highway and 50-54 in city. Also ehaust is so clean it is actually cleaner then air you breathe.
