A few nights in a row I've had a dream that I was having sex with a girl that I've known since I was 8 and she was 6. She is about to get married to another guy. Our parents are best friends (have all family dinners together- Thanksgiving, Xmas, b-days, etc.). She works with both of our mothers. My mother considers her the daughter she never had. She and I are extremely close too though we've never dated or kissed or anything like that. So my question is, does this dream mean I want her for myself, or simply that I'm having anxiety about her getting married?

It is hard to say. Since you have never had any feeling or never dated before. My guess is that you are concerned about her getting married. Or you having the shoulda coulda woulda's and wish that you had consider dating her.

It is just anxiety about her getting married. You know she is going to be off limits soon, and maybe deep down you always liked her a little bit. You may feel a bit differently about her now...but forget the dream and move on. Just a dream..happens to everyone. It doesn't mean you are "meant to be" or anything like that.

it could mean either but maybe since your so close your worried about her gettin married and want her for yourself because you know w/ you shes okay. And since she's not related to you its not gross. I think your just really worried about nothing,it's just a dream.

these dremas are very common, you are having them now because you cant have her, she is off limits so you want her. i use to have the same dreams about my ex boyfriends brother and i was not all all attracted to him in real life but in the dream world he was one of the men i could never be with.

I agree it could be both, but please don't ruin your friendship by telling her you want her...when the only reason your doing it is to keep her as one of your possible candidates...once you've caught all the other fish your gonna catch...because then your just stringing her alone for your pleasure

maybe it's more about the anxiety? i dont' know...
how do you feel about it when you wake up? if you dream it again, pay attention to the way you're feeling.
