I agree. I wish it could be how it was after 09/11.
Everyone was so loving and understanding. Remember how proud everyone was to be American. How we all rallied behind Bush. I too crave those days. The America I grew up in is slowly changing and it saddens me.
Maybe one day we will learn...I still have hope that we will come together. Its fading but every time I see the "good American youth" I see they can carry it on.
There is this saying. "The quality of the future starts here. The quality of the future starts here with you and me." I've heard children recite this and it gives me chills. That is where our hope is. With them.
