In addition to what you're already doing, try not washing your jeans as often. I read an article in a fashion maganize that says many people in fashion NEVER wash their jeans. The article claimed that jeans aren't meant to be washed. I don't know if that is true, and I still wash my jeans from time to time, but I wait until I absolutely must. I spot clean them with a wash cloth and I use febreze on them as needed too.

You can have them dry cleaned. I know someone who used to do that so the color wouldn't fade. If you do machine wash, keep doing it inside out and use a gentle, short cycle. All that agitation makes them rub together and that fades the color.

You could try giving your new jeans a wash with vinegar, I use this to set dye when I am dying things. Just add a couple cups of white vinegar when you wash them the first time.

Wash them in cold water with regular detergent or color-safe detergent. Regular cycle works fine. Also, line dry them don't use the dryer.

One of the detergent mfgrs advertises that their product protects dark colors from fading. I think it's Cheer.
I don't think there is anything else you can do unless you dye them again..

I've heard they can be soaked in beer and it helps to fix the colors so they become more resistant to fading.
I haven't tried it, so I'm not sure.
