Just by putting "Staten Island Community Theatre" into a search engine, I came up with several hits. I would start there, if I were you, since you are probably more familiar with your hometown than I am.

But here's an example: Kids on Stage offers a free after-school program and low-fee summer program for children and teens in music and dramatic arts, with performance opportunities. A short audition is required, but no experience is necessary. Registration is conducted three times a year.

Do a web search for community theatres in Staten Island, then call them and ask what their next tryouts are and what you have to do to take part. warning, there are few roles for youngsters in community theatre. better you should take part in your school plays
