It is definitely realistic. What will make a difference, though, is what kind of job you will be looking for. If you are looking for a place in a training program for a large company (General Mills, Coca-Cola, Gallo Wines, etc.), you can start looking right away in the Spring. Talk to your placement office about which companies will be interviewing at your campus. The point is that these companies do all of their hiring at once, and you need to be ready for them when they do the interviewing. If you are looking at smaller companies, you will be filling a slot which someone vacated, and they may not know far in advance that they will even have a position open, so you will probably have to wait until March or later to talk to most of these companies. You might want to think about doing an internship this semester that could possibly turn into a full-time job (assuming you are in school in the area you want to work in).

It's wise to already be looking. Contact your university career office and ask when people will be on campus to recruit. Talk to every recruiter that you can possibly get to. Some of them are on campus in the evenings and some during the day. Keep informed of the schedule. The more recruiters you visit with, the better chance you have of an offer. Some of the jobs won't be of interest to you. However, just talking to the recruiters will be good practice.

Also, send out resumes. Companies today are willing to look at emailed resumes. Make sure it's a good looking .pdf file. If you don't have a .pdf writer, I'm sure the school computer lab does. Take advantage of it. Good luck!

i'm getting into the process the comparable element suited now. i could say to call them and enable them to be responsive to your involved. After which you will't do something. i does no longer shop calling because it may get stressful to them. think ofyou've have been given to commence making use of to assorted places nonetheless. i've got utilized to around 12 places and only have a number of them that are understanding for me (I actual have a sturdy resume too). Get assorted provides, this could help you advance your sales too. in case you get 2 provides and one is a greater robust sales... tell the different which you have a greater robust supply and want greater $$$ while you're making it sound such as you're actually not very versatile in terms of the place you opt to stay and artwork, it is going to shrink what share calls you get. in basic terms shop making use of and don't think of you have a job until eventually you get the written supply with a sales on it. sturdy success and congrats on graduating!
