It's more like what I miss the most about Aussie Rules. No more short tight shorts. All these baggy shorts are not very good for the viewing public like me. Also it's just kids playing the game now, not many real men left to perv on.
We hardly ever see spectacular marks now. Yeah, a few each week but it's all chip back and across and hardly any man on man stuff. When they show the stats it's nearly all uncontested possessions. Nah, I hardly get excited anymore. No punch-ups, I miss that part of the game.
I like sneaking some grog into the ground, having arguments with rival fans and then to the pub afterwards. If my team wins we celebrate if we lose we rubbish shyte out of the umpires and the grotty rival mob of fans.

There is a full house, teams run out , do there warm ups, siren sounds, captains toss, all players move to position ....umpire holds the Ball aloft...another siren and the crowd roars and goes ape droppings . The atmosphere and anticipation of whats to come ....I have always felt that buzz , for as long as I can recall, and especially when I was coaching . Might be an odd answer, but I have to say the "First Bounce" ...I love it , any game anywhere, back of Bourke to the G

The skill, athleticism, the letdown after the build up, the elation after winning, everything about it, stories, gossip, hero's and villains, comebacks and wilting teams, the media frenzy of big issues the media beat up of small issues, the sacking of coaches, the sad retirement of champions, the change over of boardrooms, scandals, champion teams and wooden spooners and those in between, the women on Brownlow night, crying on grand final day, the future on draft day and the anticipation of the following year after your club has come no where near the finals, everything!

Big marks and the big hits, and the feeling of seeing your team win in a hard tough close match. Also the feel in the air at a GF and watching your team win the big one

DEFINTLY seeing matty pavlich kick his money shots- awesome! freo supporters are always left alone once they mention these brilliant shots.
also love watchin player run into umps lol!
also i would have to agree that the lack of uncontested possesions SUCK! its more tactic now than playing the game as it should be played.
but still, who doesnt love it?
i can hardly complain.
