Lol, did you see the Vh1 special on the 100 Greatest Songs of The 90s? It was good and Smells Like Teen Spirit was number one! But while I think each decade has their own unique and nice sound, I do have to agree that at least mainstream music has gone downhill. You may just have to search underground for good stuff.

I wasn't around for alot of it, but yeah I LOVE Nirvana, Alice In Chains and other bands like that. I do hate the crappy pop like Mariah Carey that also started in the 90s and continues to be played now though.

If by 90's you mean GRUNGE then YES!! I wasn't old enough to really understand till the late 90's... but I look back and I can see how good the music was compared to most of todays crap.
Alice In Chains is deff my favorite band.

the 90's had some really good music, with, i agree, much more meaning than all the bubblegum pop and rap that is influencing this decade. man, i wish i was twenty when the 90's began... so many bands to hear on the radio...so many concerts i could of gone to....its sad =(
