how being emo or scene it's unique, when a million other kids are the same? I'm not being mean...i guess I just don't get the individuality. Others are welcome to comment

I'm talking about the kids that say "I'm emo!" or "I'm scene", not true individuals caught under a stereotype

omg i know!!! ok it drives me CRAZY i was homeschooled up till this year and i get comments about how dressing scene is stupid all the time and i'm always like, um dude i've been dressing like this since i was 12 and homeschooled and had no idea what scene was!! 4 effing YEARS of dressing like this before i even knew it was like apparently a big deal to some people. i dont know...or really care...i like the way i dress and i could care less what people think of the way i dress.

I listen to what music I like and dress how I like, and some people choose to label me as emo or scene, I never try to be particularly different, I just am myself. It bothers me when people strive to fit a steriotype.
